Are you a medical professional targeting the upcoming MRCP Part 2 exam in July 2025? If so, here is an important update for you. According to the RCP’s official website, the booking window for the above-mentioned exam will open on May 5, 2025. The exam is scheduled to take place on 16 July 2025.
The booking window will close seven days later on 12th May. So, candidates aiming to take the second step of the MRCP this July must secure their slots as soon as possible to avoid last-minute stress.

How to apply for MRCP Part 2 July 2025 exam
- Log into your ‘My MRCP(UK)’ account.
- Check that all your personal details are up to date.
- Fill in details regarding whether you are training in the UK or not.
- Select your convenient exam centre
- Complete any special arrangements if applicable.
- Pay the exam fee.
- Submit your application.
If you cannot apply online, reach out to the RCP team and request a paper application form. Note that any paper forms saved or stored earlier will not be accepted.
MRCP Part 2 exam format
The MRCP Part 2 exam has a two-paper format. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions in the ‘best of five format’ in each paper. The exam duration is three hours for each paper, and both papers are completed on the same day.
