The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) has officially opened the booking window for the MRCP Part 1 January 2025 exam (Diet: 1) on November 4, 2024. Candidates can now secure a spot for the exam scheduled for January 22, 2025. The booking window will remain open until November 11, 2024. So, make sure to complete your booking within this timeframe.

For those who may need a little extra time due to valid reasons, the RCP has provided a reasonable adjustment deadline until November 18, 2024. This allows candidates who require accommodations to finalise their bookings.

How to apply for the MRCP Part 1 exam

To apply for the MRCP Part 1 exam, follow these simple steps.

  • Log into your My MRCP(UK) account.
  • Check that all your personal details are up-to-date. It is important to have a valid correspondence address when completing your application.
  • Fill in details about whether you are training in the UK or not.
  • Select a centre where you would like to take the examination.
  • Complete any special arrangements, if applicable.
  • Make the payment for the examination.
  • Submit your application. After submission, you will receive an RCP code.
  • Provide evidence of your primary medical qualification (PMQ) by sending it to PMQ@thefederation.uk along with your RCP code.

The application fee for the MRCP Part 1 examination is £489 for UK candidates and £655 for international candidates.
