• Involvement in direct patient care
• Exposure to a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
• Practice across multiple specialties
  (typically achieved through at least 12 months of further postgraduate training. The candidates should reflect responsibilities expected at ST2–ST3 level or equivalent but need to be part of a UK specialty training programme to sit Part 2 )

• Do use question banks with detailed explanations. Not just knowing answers, but understanding why the other options are incorrect is also an important part of MCQs.
