MRCP Part 2 diet 3 exams booking starts July 8

The application window for the MRCP Part 2 Diet 3 exam for international candidates will officially open on July 8, 2024 and will close on July 15, 2024. Candidates must finish their application process within this timeframe to secure a spot for the examination.

The MRCP Part 2 exam can be taken by physicians who have successfully completed the MRCP Part 1 exam. The exam builds upon the knowledge tested in Part 1 and assesses a wide range of medical knowledge, skills, and behaviours outlined in the UK Specialty Training Curriculum for Core Medical Training and Internal Medicine.

The Part 2 exam is conducted three times a year, which gives you the flexibility to plan your exams strategically. Here is some important information about the MRCP Part 2 Diet 3 exam in 2024.

Applications open: 08, July 2024

Applications close: 15, July 2024

Examination date: 11, September 2024

Results by: 11, October 2024

Candidates must complete the registration process by paying the exam fee. The fee is £489 for UK candidates and £655 for international candidates.

MRCP exam format

 The MRCP exam consists of three parts: MRCP Part 1, Part 2, and MRCP PACES examinations. The MRCP exam can be attempted by anyone with a medical degree from a medical school recognised by the GMC and 12 months of clinical experience.

Number of papers: Two papers

Number of questions: Each paper has 100 questions

Exam pattern: Multiple-choice questions in the ‘best-of-five’ format.
