The Royal College of Physicians has officially opened the booking window for the MRCP Part 1 examination (Diet: 4) on August 5. Candidates can now secure their spot for the exam scheduled on October 16, 2024.
The booking window will remain open until August 12, 2024. Candidates are required to complete their booking process within this timeframe. For those who need additional time due to valid reasons, the RCP allows until August 19, 2024, for reasonable adjustments.
Application fees are £489 for UK candidates and £655 for international candidates. Ensure that bookings are made within the specified period to avoid complications.
MRCP Part 1 is the first of three MRCP examinations conducted by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians, which includes the Royal College of Physicians, the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
The MRCP (UK) Part 1 exam tests a candidate’s basic knowledge of clinical sciences and common medical conditions, focussing on what is needed for entry into specialist training.
